Oh good - thought I was the only oddball! My take on it is that I don't trust all that 'burning off' of alcohol in cooking - maybe it does - and maybe it doesn't. Molls the more I talk to addicts the more I hear that we're not the oddballs.

I was dying physically and mentally so a few changes like that aren't that hard.

You know what... I DO see your points Jacks and Mollers. I actually understand it entirely. We're all different... our drugs of choice are different and our "need" is different. I think it may be the case the youz are more chemically addicted and I am the emotional wreck. Seriously. I'm not frightened of wine in a sauce or anything like that... and I will have wine in to cook with...

It's different for all of us.

Starty and I had a good long talk about that today. Addiction is addiction is addiction.... doesn't matter what your drug of choice is... and it affects us all differently. Look at me with the Bac... Tipps has had massive success with Bac... not me though. We're all affected differently. We all have the a similar problem but it does not present in the same way in all of us.

I'm getting a bit heavy maybe. I think it's the rehab thing... it's making me think. NOT a good thing...
