Gentle little Whizzy my arse.
In the early 70's there was a cruel Midwife called Bridget who used to slap young single mothers who got very distressed during labour. This was supposed to be acceptable practice. I caught her in the act and after I had finished with her she never did it again. :goodjob:
There were many wonderful,profesional and kind Midwives but cruelty and bad practice was everwhere.
I must have been OK as I still get invited to "babies" weddings
