Evening!
I'm pleased to report that harmony has been restored in Reccie's mum's house. My mum is talking to me again and I've decided it's best to simply put up with the constant interruptions. She's 78 and a bit set in her ways, so she's not likely to change very much. She did go along to Waitrose to buy me a little peace offering and we had a lovely dinner...moules marinieres with ficelle bread for dunking.
Mrs bear...you are looking absolutely gorgeous today!
Sorry you're struggling with the smokes JC, it must be very tough to have not one, but two addictions. :l
Off to read back a bit more.

Just lurking here while I cook Mr JC's dinner.
You're dinner sounds lovely Reccy. Himself is having fried potatoes, curry sauce and left over beef.
I'll regroup and have one of my big thinks tomorrow. Have to say all the money I saved paid for a very nice Christmas. It could be worse, I could be filing.
AF since 7/7/2009

Howdy guys, finshed work and done some of me essay and now to relax and give mrs p her well needed cuddles, nightI love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person.

Just had yet more once-boiled, now-fried potatoes for left overs...
Reccy - good to hear the frost has melted. Jealous of your dinner.

Thanks for the thoughtful and understanding responses to my first post of the day. I found marioman's post particularly helpful.
One or two folks in the barracks seem to be struggling in different ways recently. Something to do with the time of year maybe, what with it being both the festive season and rather dismal outdoors.
Brilliant that you'll be able to make it to Dublin, Jackie. Hope Starty and P3 will be able to make it too.
I can understand your feeling nervous about doing the secretary thing for your AA meetings, molly. Something like that would absolutely terrify me, but you're a fantastic communicator, and I've every confidence in your ability to do the job and do it well. It might be helpful to plan what you're going to say before you make the call.
Hi arsey
Night pinky.
