    HELP WITH MOVIE REVIEWS!

lincoln is excellent! definitely a must see.
another good one for adults is "flight"...anyone with a substance abuse problem will appreciate it.

django unchained is insane...if you like quentin tarantino, you'll love it. it was really bloody, but in a sort of over the top ridiculous way that added to the flick...it is really harsh and about slavery. if you saw "inglorious bastards", it's sort if like that in that it is a fantasy revenge story about slave owners like ig was about revenge against nazis.

that is what i have seen so far this season...the master is next on my list.

I saw The Life of Pi the other day and it's just stunning visually with amazing storytelling, I can't recommend it highly enough. I haven't read the book so I can't say how faithful it is to the original story (pretty much so though from what I've heard) but I can certainly see why they always thought it was unfilmable!

ugh! i really didn't care for the master! i didn't find the master charismatic at all and i really didn't feel anything for freddy...maybe that was the point though, he really wasn't all that sympathetic of a person, and an ego maniac who thought an awful lot of himself, but was just a man in the end...i'm just glad it's over. it was tedious and disjointed...we were the only people in the theater, hmmmmmmm.
