    traditionally the biggest piss up and boozefest of the year

    its hard to describe the pressure to drink at this time of year in Scotland, people almost think you're odd for not doing so


    I'm gonna settle for odd! :H

    Mine will have diet Pepsi. The drinkers around no longer bother me, I just remember how sick I always felt the next day (and I am just getting over the flu so its even easier this year).

    Happy sober New Years and you will not regret not drinking!

        So many will see the new year in with DUIs, domestic violence, pub violence, heart attacks, suicides, drunken accidents ........ Jeez, I envy them !
