    Hi Hippyman.

Better get back to work here ...
Not a problem. I'm an open book these days. Funnily enough still in touch with one of the girls from the thread that was on. She went the modding rout and we don't see her often.

    Yoooooooooooooo hooooooooooooooo Hippy.

Jenny stayed 4 nights this week, as she hasn't really lived here for nigh on 8 years (Uni and shared flats I didn't kick her out) it was sooooooooooooooo hard. All I can say is PTL we got unlimited broadband before Christmas so I shoved her in the conservatory with me lap-top.

            Hello army!

            Happy Shunday!

Sent a longish e-mail to zenners last night with all the latest goings on in the barracks. Hope she has time to read it.

            Off to read back.

Just a quick pop in as I'm waiting for the oven timer. Full English for dinner again today.

Been to friggintesco and fessed up about the smoking. Having a big talk tomorrow with her at my proper appointment. Was actually going to cancel it and go smoke free for a week, but I just couldn't.
Reckon it was stress as the last time I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeded a ciggie was the day before my gallbladderectomy (Mrs A knows it's Sunday name)

Leaving for the airport in 25 minutes. Knackered from a surfeit of visitors. So proud that I have lovely kids and sons in law that care about each other. Fed up being the hostess with the mostest.

I went to bed and woke up feeling proud but a bit scared. Bt the way I am taking 25mgs baclofen daily and that seems to help.
                  Brilliant! Well done whizzy. :l

I need to get back into a running routine. It got shot at in November and December has just been hard for keeping up ... Looking at the Brighton Marathon in April as next goal. And maybe Cork in June.
I need to get back to running too arsey. I actually HAD to run yesterday cos I was late for my appointment and was slightly surprised that it came so easily.

Cant not win this time. I am 50 this year, I dont want to be dependent on something so destructive at my half century
I'll be 50 too, startypants. Maybe we can both quit our addictions this year?

If I am being honest I am beginning to realise where and why I am constantly failing, I just am not prepared to put in the hard work for any protracted period of time. Its easier to say I will stop tomorrow and as we all know sometimes tomorrow never comes. Quite why I decide to pick up a glass after weeks or months AF when everything in my life improves, not least my health, physically, mentally and spiritually but yet back to the abyss I choose to go. Complacency? no, more like laziness on my part. I have no choice over my addiction but I do have the choice not to pick up that first drink, every precious day that I have left. This sucks as does my self pity and whinging.
Blimey, tabbers, are you my identical twin brother?

How's things with your Mum today Reccie?

Oh - and howdo again MrG!!
Things are fine with my mum, molly. She's prattling away as I type. The fact that I'm absorbed in the army thread doesn't seem to matter! Unfortunately things have taken a turn for the worse as my brother has arrived (the one who can brighten up a room just by leaving it) and he'll be staying until NYD. :upset::upset::upset:

Oh right, I'm still in bed playing video games on the phone at 9 am....(My other addiction...probably going get brain cancer from my cellphone if I don't stop this soon...)
