Tawny, I too have been fantasising about a tall glass of chilled chardy or a bucket of g&t. I think it's all about the fantasy 'cos the reality of me indulging in that scenario is just plain u.g.l.y. I'd die if I had to come here and tell you all I'd stuck my head in a bucket of booze......oh the shame - lol.

Rags, I know a lady who was just diagnosed with breast cancer at 85. The 69 year cut off is nothing but a budgetary issue. Organise ongoing checks through your doctor yourself. I realised early on that it was up to me to manage my health through. I'm the one who has to cope with the fallout, not them. SO if one doctor doesn't give me what I want, I go to the next and the next until I find a good one. They're not Gods, they just provide a health service.If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Hi all!
Everyone sounds busy and surviving the heat!
I'm going to post a picture of my tomatoes. They were planted in October last year and have grown to all of about 20cm in height :H:H Bottom garden in looking a bit better after some dedicated weeding attention at Xmas time - this weekend it will hopefully get some bark chip replacement!
