Now look, everyone just calm down. I was at the Presidents in auguration and Beyonce was terrific. She looked like Beyonce, and sounded like Beyonce. So what if she was miming. It's all the go these days, and de riguer at such prestigeous events. It's a sound tech and roadies dream. No feedback, no stuff ups, and everything in tune. Many wish Meatloaf was miming at his last Aussie grand final appearance. Milli vanilli were ahead of their time. Pioneers i tells ya.

Well, Serena Williams is such a delight. Just back from a calisthenics and Tai bo session with her and Billy Blanks. Billy was with us courtesy of Skype from L.A. During breakfast, she revealed she's an aspiring Flamenco guitarist, and not into sky diving. She's an absolute treasure, and tells me she's looking forward to thrashing todays hapless and pathetic opponent on court ron.

So my Monday lunch girlfriend tells me she's got water bags nailed up all around the place and swears that they work. I think she's pulling my leg and is just setting me stupid tasks. So I have a chat with Old Mrs. Google and bugger me dead, there's a pile of info on the subject. It seems opinions are equally divided between YES - it works and NO - you're dreaming.
So I nailed some up. My initial report? Either there were no flies in Australia yesterday or ... it works. Care to join me in this experiment to confirm or deny? What have you got to lose?Comment

Frog, those bags don't work very well here...we had em all over town for a bit, well the flies were sittin on em at the shop...Lovely photos Happ, the prawns don't look dead...I have a nice tree pic I took yest I'll have to post...I am eating ice cream so fast it splashed onto the screen, at least its not beer I guess....getting close to snooze time for me...zzzComment
