Gosh you are up erly Rags!!! Morning and enjoy the bondage

Mum has been upgraded from "likely to pop her clogs any minute" to "seems like there is fight in the old girl yet". Cognitive functioning has taken a big hit (Drs think that at some time over the last week the oxygen supply to her brain got cut off), and she hasn't got much heart function left, but she is eating again, and the palliative care seems to have stabilised things a bit. She cracked a joke yesterday and that brought quite a few laughs!

Sooo....... we decided that last that we're coming to Melbourne today!!! We had been putting off making a decision until the last minute but now we are all go! Bag is packed and tomorrow I'm going to relax my socks off in preparation for the big fat Italian wedding on Sunday.

Mr G - any recommendations for a good massage place in St Kilda?? Actually anything good in St Kilda as we are staying close to Albert Park (I already have downloaded walking instructions to the Sports ad Aquatic Centre - wow: two 50 m pools!! How nice!!!

      have a good one all!!
Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

          Fantastic news Missy!

So ... this travel advisor suggests ... Cafe di Stasio in Fitzroy St. for a lovely al fresco lunch, either a la carte (a bit exy) or the $35 two-course lunch special; a walk to Acland St for more people perving and a visit to Monarch Cakes for their 100 year old Polish Cheesecake; and a nice stroll along the Esplanade on Sunday morning for the market.

That's it! Haven't seen one for years.
Human Bondage eh? Is it like that Shades of Grey thing?

Missy that is great news. Amazing how they rally sometimes.

            Hello Mr G:l
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

So you have effectively dodged a retinal rejection? A-ma-zing.

It was my cornea which is a graft from '89. I was told that they can always reject even after years. I dodged one here I think!

                            Hello Mr G:l
It's a rather boring book supposedly based on Somerset Mauham's early life.

I also bought Michael Kirby's book A private life..... a bit of a wrist slasher.

Missy, that's good news about your mum.
Have a wonderful time in Melbourne. I should save up and take Mr Rags there for a weekend some time.

PS: Paul Simon tickets go on sale to-day.

                              Catch you all tomorrow.

                                New Year Underoos.....

Happy Friday everyone - you all look bewdiful......

Tres jel of you Mr G. Enjoy your days of doing whatever makes your heart glad!

Missy - SO glad to hear things are much better.

I was wondering this morning......on the way to THIS bloody place....what you all look like. I've conjured up the image of Mr G as the radio bloke on the station I listen to. His name is (the radio dude) Jonesy. Mr G is the only one I got sorted before I managed to mount a curb whilst turning at a set of lights so thought better of going any further through the list.....

I haven't had time to even platt my hair lately! I make sure I read what you are all doing, just in case I need to do an intervention, but all seems as it should be here. We had a strategic planning day yesterday and when I was going over the notes last night I realised I got just about ALL of the actions. I don't mind a bit of action but this is quite unsettling. AND, if I hear the hair yanker say one more time this year (already) that "it really isn't that hard" I'll smack him up the side of the ......

Anyway, it IS Friday and I intend to keep off the radar today and stay calm!

Anyway X 2 - I feel a little frazzled and I'm pretty sure my bum looks big in this outfit AND my right shoe keeps slipping off.......but!!

PS - Talking of mexicans Mr G - did I ever tell you that Cesar Milan asked me to dinner in 2010 when he was here on tour? He didn't ask me in 2009 because he had his wife and kids with him then.... He hasn't asked me since 'cos his new squeaze is a steamer !!!!!

                                Big sigh.........I'm off....

                                Love you all like craziness!!!
It is not what we do, but how much love we put into the doing.
