Well I made it until about 11 last night, doing a bunch of nothing, watching videos. Darn chickens started squawking at 4 a.m. and I thought brer possum must have found dinner, but they are all accounted for this morn.....Happ, the pumpkin chickpea burger sounds interesting. So how was it?......G, the only gig I've had for a month is the country one with the sr. line dancers om Fridays. Really, the past 2 or 3 years its been kinda hard to find work..How is it for you lately?.....well, my list this year...more time at the gym, less beer (hopefully none), better food choices....Well, its the same list every year hahah:HComment

I'll make them again, the recipe can be played with too, I added cumin and rolled mine in Panko crumbs. And I reckon if you had time you could roast your pumpkin and play with your spices. Mr Happs doesn't eat red meat and living in a house of carnivores he tends to get
pushed to the side. So I figure he'll eat better if there's more inclusion.Comment

Morning Jonesy, Supermodel, Happs and all to follow,
A few gigs here and there for me Bird. I will be leaving the little group that does the most regular gigs soon, (great folk, but after 3 years, i need something more challenging musically) but that'll still leave me with 2 bands, and a semi-regular fill in spot with another throughout the year. The oven looks grand, but where's the pic of your drum kit?!
Well Undies, i had the convo with me downstairs neighbour re late night noise at 11.26 p.m. last night. I was up looking for earplugs
, then thought bugger it, lets tackle this now. The young man was fantastic. He and i handled ourselves very well, exchanged new years greetings, young bloke didn't realise sound (after 11.00 p.m.) was disturbing my sleep, and was only too happy to turn it down, not that it was overly loud, just wafting up through the floor and intermittently irritating. Rappore is very good, and job done, with young bloke stating 'it's all good'. Let's hope those words don't come back to haunt me!
I gotta say, i am somewhat relieved we sorted it so effortlessly and quickly. I couldn't imagine what it would be like having a noise war with yer neighbours. Of course, i have a drumkit, a trumpet and violin i don't play very well, and big amplifiers, so i would always win....hehe.
Grey and cool here. Out to lunch with a friend ron, and found a cheap gym down the road. Punching bags and weights and open at 6 a.m.- 9 p.m. 95 bucks membership for the year, then $ 3.50 a visit, or $440 for the year and open slather. Deliberately positioned across from housing commission flats to engage young folk, all battler's and the general community. No frills with a positive mission statement/purpose. Right in the heart of the cheap seats. My kinda joint.
