My Mum and Dad used to have friends called Jeff and Julie, and they were indeed from Doncaster (not kidding). I use the past tense because they turned up unexpectedly one year with an entourage of toothless grandpeople.
That's hilarious Bridge. A disclaimer here.....not all folk from Doncaster are toothless. I mention this to sooth the furrowed gums of any polydent users 'round here.....

Yes Techstar. What's the latest on yer eyes? Edit: Much better T? Good stuff.

      G'day Happs!

Safe travels Frog. You might even find a pointy hat in ballaf%&kinrat.

        That's good to hear Techie!

        Good morning all,
        Missy, how's Mum?
Jones I'm sorry to hear about your friend, medicine is pretty amazing these days but geez, that'd rock her (and you) :l

Ok, I know I laid low on the weekend...I worked yesty & had many children around on Saturday.
I'm in awe of the outdoor oven Tawny - you.are.so.handy. If we could bottle that...
So my handy work for today is to cover my new bench seats in a fabulous retro fabric I bought online. It's amazing, I wanted to do more home furnishings and now I have this, my brother has bought a boat that needs sprucing (kinda his home) and a friend has some chairs that need upholstering. It's a new phase in creativity...loving it.
        Will post pics when finished.
G - smash it at the boxing place...I'm there this arvo.

Why do I think the first thing that goes in her oven will be me?

Thanks for all the best wishes for Mum ......she is still in hospital, haven't been able to talk to her nurse personally, but apparently "comfortable".

Love the look of those viking pizzas Techie :H

Angel, the home furnishing stuff sounds great! I think I must be the only Undie without a single creative or DIY bone in my body

                    New Year Underoos.....

                    Helllloooo my beauties!!!

Well, it is ab fab to see what everyone has been up to.

I'd been in for a coffee gathering!

Tawny - you ARE my hero!!! My brain doesn't think like your's does.... I would never had thought to make an oven that way. I think I found your over doors at Bunnings. Go have a peep in the BBQ section. They have these cut out metal frame things similar to what you guys posted picks of recently. They have solid iron thingies I reckon might work. Just a thought for your trip to Ballabloodyrat (or any other long sojourns) how about singing? Songs by the Seekers seem to work well, or the Lord's Prayer by that groovy Nun, or anything by Kenny Rogers.....

Usual salute to the loveliest Mr G I know.

                    Crazy wave to Techie.

                    Sorry about your Mum Missy.

DOG Bridge - you handled the squirts theme quite well I think. I was expecting a "f*** off" well before we got one!

I had a fairly eventful weekend, starting Friday arvo. Poor little Lady Dharma ended up in ER!!! The heat just knocked her for six by Friday. Although, Friday wasn't that hot really, and the room she was in was quite cool. She may have had a stomach bug, combined with the heat and she was off her dial. Wobbling around, vomiting and squirting, trying to drink then throwing it up again. I rushed her to the vet (where my lovely first born daughter) works and Lady Dharms was admitted and a drip inserted. Poor little love! She didn't get to come home until yesterday afternoon and she was zorsted and still a bit out of sorts. She is getting old and I'm dreading anything happening to her. I love her soooo much.....

Saturday I lazed by the pool until the cool change came through. Then FH and I tripped off to Bunnings. I spent too much money.... I bought a wire thingy statue of a duck trying to drink from a tap with a bucket under the tap. She is so cute and I've planted a little plant in the bucket under. I bought some cactus thingies my mum used to grow - nestursions I think she called them. I can't spell the name obviously. I have this amazing cart (also a Bunnings creation) which I'm turning into my cactus cart and I bought some pots and plants for the steps leading to the patio area. I'm not going back there any time soon!

Sunday FH took me to pick up a mirror wall cabinet for the ensuite. He found a ripper bargain on-line and surprised me. We have since found a vanity unit with a proper mixer tap for next to nothing on-line which he will pick up tomorrow. The cabinet was $93 and the unit was $189. I can't believe how cheap it all ended up being. He now has the headache of putting them in.

My daughter came for a visit yesterday afternoon and she kept FH company having a bucket load of AL and doing silly things. I often wonder if FH misses having someone to drink with. I get ugly after the first sip so he doesn't miss ME drinking with him that's for sure!! She had done the bolt before I got up this morning which is a bit of a worry.... I felt a little left out yesterday when they started their 'party'. Shortly after I was feeling pretty chuffed that I'd be 100% this morning but they wouldn't be feeling so fine! Confirmed for me, that I'm on the only path I want to be in that regard!!

Anyway, I've bored you all enough I'd say.

                    Love yous!!
It is not what we do, but how much love we put into the doing.

I had to turn it off after 40 minutes but as Jeremy Irons' fake german accent annoyed me. And I've seen it twice before but.
So Mr Rags downloaded a book and lent me his kindle.

Earlier on Sunday I went to Bunnings to get lots of hard as nails and we blocked up all the gas outlets with bits of wood then put the grilles back on.
Next weekend Mr Rags gets to remove the ducting.... dunno how many dead rats are in it... bastards. we still have all the doors and windows open but to get fresh air through the house. We have gas thingys but, that you can plug a gas heater into, we're getting 2 gas heaters from Mr Rags' sister so we'll be OK next winter. Hate effing rats but.

                                G'day Rags,

Re the coke, i reckon he must've been a big consumer of the stuff.

Re last nights t.v. i had the sound down, but he's the bloke with longish dark hair, and a kinda thin fella prob in his 40's. I saw the word Vikings appear at one point, so maybe that's the one you saw. Any damage from the fires up your way? Did various rodents run from the bush for shelter in your ducting?

                                How was James Grinder?

                                Break a skin Bird!

                                Good to see you Aspy!

What a pearler of a day here. Ramped it up a little at Jum's, then an easy run on the beach followed by a swim. Not many folk around on a monday, so it's very noice. I am soooo happy being close to the sea. :h
