Just been for a big walk and I'm sure the irony is not lost on you. Talk about "of drought and flooding rains".

My grass is crunchy underfoot.



My tree, laden with crab apples is now adorned with hundreds of these little beauties:



The dam is well, it's damn well got cracks in it:



My beautiful Pierre de Ronsard climbing rose doesn't look too tres chic:

Sometimes it's hard not to be a sooky lala and sob your big head off.

Back from Melbourne and the wedding of the century. It was entertaining in lots of ways, but more of a choreographed performance than heartfelt celebration. And the money spent on it would have equalled the GDP of a small developing economy. And there were a few melodramatics as a result of people getting pissed as chooks and doing and saying rooly rooly stupid things. I was glad to be sober and not contributing to the drama!

Must go and catch up with what Time said!

Gawd Tawny, I thought our place was bad. Trying to ressurect an old climbing rose here, but at least it still has some greenery. Are you allowed any watering there?

Just came across delicious little healthy snacks called Flats; has anyone tried them (though they are expensive - next kitchen gadget may be a dehydrator). ourflats

Hello everyone,
I am currently zorsted from the antics of 8 x 3 week old pups. They are so bloody gorgeous I cannot do a THING round the house, but I have had some work which has been stimulating, & a throng of visitors goo-ing & gaa-ing over puppies, so it's been busy.
Now all puppies have opened their eyes & have started recognizing things, namely me. I go into "the pit" & it's all open slather. Gawd, they're too cute for words. I have a personal enemy in photobucket so I'll email more photos to Bridge if she's ok to pop them up. Hope you are all well. I miss you.
Will try to get back here as much as I can but privacy a huge issue when hubs around. I wish you all the best.
