Had my Pellegrino in a crystal glass as Christmas day as they were on the table. I didn't even finish it. Still like a nice glass if we're out even if it has just got tap water in it.

of money out of the proceedings and go on a real 'road-trip' in the States for a month or two. Life is short, we realised that this year - and this would deffo be a trip of a lifetime --- can't wait for the shop to sell now!!
That would be a fantastic thing to do molls! Go for it! But make sure you check in here every day or we won't let you go!

On the subject of glasses, I'm actually drinking ice cold water out of a whisky tumbler at the moment. Wonder if you've hit on something there.

I wouldn't hold your breath, the scratch card brought absolutely nothing.

Oh meant to say before. Please, please make the trip of your dreams when you sell the shop.

Oh, sorry molls, I misunderstood you. That got me thinking about the way we communicate. Did you know that it's possible to understand a sentence where only the first and last letters of the words are in the correct place and the rest of the letters are jumbled up?

                      :H Reccy!

Molls - Just reading back, have to agree with peeps that the road trip sounds a brilliant idea. Thumbs up from the hobbit.

mrsa - aye, becks beer. There was a cobra too, but I can't say I like that so much. I did drink a fair bit. And in the hotel earlier (where I was pre bells, before heading to a post bells party) it was as much about having something to do... do drinking fitted. First orange and lemonade. Then sparkiling H2O. Then a coke. Then a pot of coffee. Then an AF beer i snuck into the bar. Then a tonic water. Then i burped a really queer taste into me mouth :yukko:

Still working out my drinks in situations where there's a lot of drinking going on... maybe, MAYBE.... it's just about avoiding these situations more...which i kind of already do.

                      Cup of tea anyone?

Just cozying in now Molly. Very inviting picture. The season not tough al wise this year. It will always be the toughest due to family issues and reminders of loss. There are many other missed celebrations during the year but yes Christmas particularly hard. Thanks for asking my dear. Hope that doesn't sound too cryptic. It would take days to really convey the reasons. I am in another moving forward mode, so I guess that's the happier sound I'm ringing.

Thank you Molls... maybe a question for a new thread about what those who are either a wee bit younger or who often find themselves in social/drinking situations and/or go to drinking haunts. But yeah, I do guzzle in those situations. I don't at home. Even though I did when I was drinking alone, I just don't... because I only drink if I'm thirsty at home. But in these other situations it's totally different perhaps just years of habit hardwiring me brain that way.

Hey RC! Lovely to see your here. Thank you too. Hoping it's easier for the next wee while
