    Good to see you here, Dottie. I've been thinking of you. :l

    FT - I love this group too. I really hope that you can get this changed around so that you don't have to travel anymore. You are sounding wonderful.

    Juja - I'm sorry that you still can't get in to see your Mom. Makes me sad too.

    Mama - my 25 year old didn't come home until the morning the other day. Out with a girl. I told him - common courtesy dictates that he would let us know. So, he's sorry. (until he does it again!)

    Ally - I'm reading The Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest right now. I just finished a Stephanie Bond book. I'm also reading the Jason Vale book. Plus, I've ordered quite a bit of info from Women for Sobriety and I'm looking forward to getting that.

    K9 - How's it going today? Any more teen angst?

        AF with a few speed bumps during 2014 & 2015 but will succeed.
        As of 4/12/2014 I have not smoked at all and feel great.

              Now that's funny Nora, I have not been to Mickey's world in a long long time. Besides who can afford going these days... Geez the daily fee is outrageous.

                FT - we used to get annual passes every year for Disneyland. We haven't been able to afford it for a couple years. I miss it. I LOVE Disneyland. It makes me happy.

                  Nora: this is by far my favorite thread because you guys always make me feel so welcome! I like the 2013 let's go thread too. I loved that trilogy the girl who ... Hornet's nest and whatever fire can't remember the other names. Awesome books! The movies were kind of graphic.

                  Juja: I would love to work in a library or a bookstore! My dream would be to own a bookstore and a flower shop and a nursery. My husband wants a chicken farm. Maybe those would be our retirement jobs....

                  Ahhh.... This morning was so busy. Saw a 5 year old kid w tuberous sclerosis. How very sad. She has 20 plus tumors in her brain, inoperable. Multiple seizures. We are lucky... Aren't we?

                    I'd love to work in an old bookstore. I just love the smell & feel of the old books.

                        Yes...we are lucky. And we are tough.
                        Disney is ridiculous....we never go either. But i do like to visit Orlando from time to time.

                            I used to take my son to Disney when he was younger as Well as Sea World and yes we used to have anual pass to Mickeys place but not affordable recently.
                            Playing in the dirt sounds like a lot of fun, like I used to do years and years ago... LOL
                            Let me know next time you are in Orlando.
                            Weird feeling hit me about an hour ago but I felt that urge if you know what I mean, so instead of sitting and fighting I went for a quick ride on my bicycle and feel much better now.
                            Well time for relax and maybe some NBA basketball...

                              Hi Playland,
                              Welcome! When you are ready, let us know what step you are on and we will support you. I remember you posted a month or two ago on my "your story" thread. Your pink sandals will fit nicely with Nurdl's pink Barbie car.

                              I visited Disneyland nearly two years ago, when my acid reflux was at it's worst. It's impossible to find decent food in any amusement park. Disney has restaurants, but you need to make reservations before you arrive. It was fun to see this cultural icon, but now we've seen it, won't be going back.
                              My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.

                                We love to go to Disneyland for a few hours. People watch, get some popcorn & a soda. Eating there is not something we do very often at all. The food is overpriced and not very good. But, we do enjoy just walking around there. I'm hoping we can afford passes next year. Hubby can't go on any rides but we enjoy walking around & spending time together. Like I said - Disneyland just makes me happy. :H
