Hi, Sweeties,
I'm much better today. Had a good night's sleep, and am ready to move on. Come on, L-Glut!
Yeah, Mama, going to a job where you're appreciated--that can mean more than money.
Nora, I looked at the GG dresses this a.m. I forget who was wearing it, but I liked the one that had a gold top and white bottom. Classy.
Thank you, too, for your support yesterday. I can't tell you how much your checking on me meant. I haven't gotten much of that in my life, so I'm taken aback when it does happen.:l
nurdl, I hope you got some rest last night. I'm thinking about you and your friend.
I will see Mom this morning. The quarantine has been lifted."Remember, you are responsible for creating your life by every thought, action, choice. Choose well." Oprah Winfrey

Good morning all,
It's great to see how everyone is so chipper this am, weekend in our rear-view mirrors and everyone looking forward. We can't change yesterday and tomorrow is not here yet so I think I will just live in today and have a blast of a day.
Working from home is so far great especially listening to Queen as I work... Nice.
FTAF with a few speed bumps during 2014 & 2015 but will succeed.
As of 4/12/2014 I have not smoked at all and feel great.

You're always be in our thoughts, nurdl. I'm sure you're emotionally spent. Try to get some more rest, if you can.
I'm tired. It's been a long, but good day. I had a good visit with Mom. She is well, and said she enjoyed resting during the quarantine, or at least I think that's what she said. She gets more feeble by the week, mostly because she refuses to do any physical activity. She can do as she damn well pleases.
Finished dinner--shrimp, garlic, lemon in cappellini, and sauteed spinach. Yummy.
DH bought me a little box of wine home. So far, so good. I've told him I'm quitting so many times, and failed, that I didn't say anything last night about it. I guess he thought he was being nice. This is a test, I suppose.

Juja, my husband was pretty threatened when I quit the first time. He thought he would have to quit too. He drinks reasonably 1/2 bottle most days. I'm not like him, I wouldn't stop easily. My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.

Big hugs Nurdl. It is hard to deal with all the emotional pain when a friend commits or tries to commit suicide. It hurts. I went thru many different emotions - I was so scared and so grateful that she was ok. Then I was angry that she would do this. I just wanted to take care of her. Make everything better. Acutally, I just told her that I was writing to you. She told me to give you a hug and that it is great that you care so much. :l"Only I can change my life. Also, I do believe my husband does feel threatened when I don't drink. I wonder what he'd think if I dropped 15 lbs and looked good again?:H His insecurity would go through the roof."Remember, you are responsible for creating your life by every thought, action, choice. Choose well." Oprah Winfrey

Mamma, are they fools? Huh, must be. I haven't read here in a while but when I read about your interview that just made me pissed knowing how you handle all crises, are very competent and lovely to boot.
