Thanks everyone. Just feeling a little fragile. Lots of drinking thoughts going on in my head. But, I have antabuse in my system so that's not an issue. I'm supposed to be getting my workbooks today that I ordered from Women for Sobriety.

I told hubby that I was really struggling. He just said he was sorry and that he loved me. I thanked him for just listening and not freaking out. Big improvement.

Last night I snapped at my daughter and then I apologized...she knew exactly WHY (day 3 of no smokes) and she came over and gave me a huge hug. :l That was my ammunition to keep going with this!

Hi folks, hope you are all well. Glad your coping Nora, wish I could take the antabuse. I do like my splenda and only need a small amount. Keep up the good work with the fags k9, it must be so difficult, I have never fancied smoking, thank goodness. My husband smoked for years, and gave up about 15 years ago, but says he still feels like a smoke after a meal.

Nora, I am sorry about your aunt. I am also feeling sad about my MIL. my hubby is away visiting her now. He says she looks awful, doesn't seem to know who he is. My mom died of a heart attack one night, sitting in her favorite chair. I wish I could pick to go like that.
