I always feel nervous having big bosses around....
This has been such a disorganized day. My mind just can't focus. Today I feel very ADHD.Alcoholic (or Ally)

My youngest boy brought the flu to our house on Sunday. Good times. Boy and I are both taking Tamiflu. Him to get through it faster me because I had a flu shot just last week so I don't have the antibodies built up yet. Figures. Washing everything like a crazy person. Husband refused the Tamiflu Rx so he's taking his chances. Most likely he will get it and whine abt being sick. He gets the guest room tonight and I get to sprawl all alone. Lovely.
Think good thoughts I'm gonna need 'em.:notes:

Friends of ours are going there for 3 months, renting a huge house outside of the City and told us to come stay a while! My plan is to go around October 6th and stay about 10 days....I already requested the time off work...and I also bought a piggy bank to start saving...I figure if I save what I spend every week at the thrift store, we'll be good to go! (Now all I have to do is break my thrift store addiction....)
Hope ya'll had a good weekend!

We had customers this morning. Yuck!
I went to bed early last night.....stomach ache. Thought I was sick but thank goodness it was a false alarm. I hate the somach flu.
I hope that everyone is doing great! I'll be back on tonight when I get home from work. Probably after you all are asleep."Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me.".....Carol Burnett

Checking in. Youngest one is better today. He actually came downstairs for the first time in three days. I'm still healthy so far. Hope everyone else is doing well.:notes:

This is day 2 of lying on the sofa for me. At least I don't have the low grade fever I had yesterday.
Today's book is Prince of Frogtown by Rick Bragg. I love how he is able to use the perfect descriptive words and phrases. My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.

Time to get moving. Hope you're feeling better Sunbeam. I've got show rehearsal tonight as I do most nights now. Tonight we choreograph "Together Wherever We Go." Good times and I'll be away from the house of flu for a bit.:notes:

Thanks, Nurdl, I'm humming that song. Well, just in my head because I currently have NO singing voice. I love music in my head. I speak to people in my head too. My husband often says, "So who are you talking to this time?"My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12.
