Morning campers, big wave to the froglet.
Nice to see the positivity this morning, lets bottle that feeling (pardon the pun) and remember it when times get hard. Collectively we can garner the strength to beat our demons.
Well for me day 1 is done and dusted, cravings at the witching hour but told them to f off in no uncertain terms. Always amazed at my dreams coming back the instant I dont anesthetize the grey matter for hours before bed, nice, as is that feeling of clarity and relief at the instant upon waking, that split second before I actually awake fully but the realisation hits home that I didnt poison myself the night before.

Hi Tabbers. Great to see you. It's a wonderful split second that - just before waking.

I also enjoy allowing myself to fall asleep naturally (though I should really do it earlier than I do, but this army barracks can be noisy late at night).

Yeah drunken pass out isnt quite the same. I have been on this journey so many times now but isnt it crazy that after 24 hours I am already looking forward to all the benefits sobriety brings. I will probably be an even more annoying twat when the pink cloud hits btw hehehe. Ok off to earn a crust now, laters folks.
