I was suddenly reminded of our Zennie - the eldest cub asked me to peel & slice him a mango for breakfast, and I thought back to her stories of the abundant mango tree.

The only shopping I'll be doing is for the Sunday paper.

Useless fact for the day: in my home language Afrikaans, a mango is called a "veselperske", literally translated as "fibre peach". Quite apt, except for the way it tastes.

Supposed to take youngest 3 rugby training at 10 but they can shite in this weather !!! Eldest is playing at Trafford - he's supposed to be on the road at 9 - but he's still in bed too lol ?!!?

Hubs and him will need to get a wiggle on at this rate !!!

On a separate note - it's day 3 and the first school night of the week. Holy crap !!!

I am actually feeling quite calm and peaceful, planning our Sunday tea cos that's a biggy for me - to eat at tea time. I want to fit some sort of exercise in today too - and I might just dig me knitting needles out - I'm shite but it keeps me mind occupied

So I may be popping on and off here all day, cos I soooo don't want to slip again. I've had enough of it.

Don't think you're daft at all, Q. I must have knitted enough beanies to cover the heads of most of MWO and when I was very newly sober I knitted something like 20 wee matinee jackets. Simplest pattern I could find.

Something to do with idle hands and all that.

Not sure what today holds, yet.
