      I remember all too well what i was like drinking and how far away from the real me it had took me.
      Since i've quit i have become the person i was, and back to the weight i was (48 pounds lighter) i don't need to think about it any more nothing will control my life again like AL did, freedom is here to stay. MM

        That's it madmans, freedom. Without alcohol I can choose what I do each minute of each day. Alcohol took that choice away.
        My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.

              When I begin the mind games of romanticizing alcohol, I jump straight from the first drink to the last. I force my mind to go to the puky fuzzy shitty feeling of passing out or trying to sleep when hammered. I won't allow myself to dwell on the first drink at all. That's what keeps me sober.
