Gooooooooooooood morning, Army

I could hardly sleep last night - the heat was simply too much. It was still 24C when I left home at 5.45 a.m. The Undies must be going through much worse in the heatwave conditions some parts of Oz are experiencing, so no complaints. My corner of Saffaland is unfortunately very prone to runaway veld fires, so I'm just hoping we escape the same kind of situation. When the Stellenbosch Mountain experienced a bad fire (it doubled back and burned for about 10 days in total) a few years ago, it took over 3 years for the vegetation to start recovering. The scars from soil erosion are visible even now.

Anyhoo... I'm starting to ramble, I think :H

I cannot imagine how scary that must be to have out of control fires burning around you....I hope it cools down soon. For us, I hope it heats up soon, fecking FREEZING!!

So glad its Friday eve. I am very ready for my weekend. Its been a hard week but one that has gone very quick.

Hasnt stopped raining for days in my neck of the woods, flippin cold too. Mind you I did spot my first two snowdrops sprouting from under the trees when watering the dogs in the garden this morning, nice.

good morning

sorry abandoned the thread last night in the middle of a discussion about arse tattoos, went to the cinema to see les mis.....

my tattoos are a small treble clef on the hip and a flower and butterfly design on my lower back....
and I've got 19 piercings but only my nose is really visible so I don't look like a metal head.... I prefer to keep my addictions to myself LOL....

gawd it's cold out there today and I've got a cello lesson before work...
