Good morning, Army

So the eldest is 16 today. I can hardly refer to him as a cub anymore. Having a bit of a think back to the day he was born and feeling a bit mushy and sentimental. The family will bbe over later today, so we'll be havinf a feast. Braaiing some of those chops I bought yesterday, plus deboned marinated chickens, salads, corn on the cob, grilled stuffed mushrooms,ciabatta with garlic butter, pavlova and eclairs for dessert.

Morning Tipps - just beat me to it, was gonna start the thread quickly before I get ready and off and out.

Happy Birthday to Tipps' eldest cub (they'll always be cubs to parents, methinks... but i speak as one with no kids... so maybe not!)

Morning guys

Happy burpday sweet sixteen

Cold and snowy here too, RC you enjoy the hills.

I am planning on not leaving the house today as a big dump of snow is expected. So I am just battening down the hatches and watching it from the comfort of my bed/settee etc

Happy subday to all and happy birthday to Mr T Junior.

Staying inside is a good idea , starty. It is absolutely lethal on the lane where I live. You totally cannot stay on your feet for more than a minute cos all the snow has been compacted into ice by vehicles. I had to stay on the grass verge the whole way to the end of the lane and even then there were a fair few dodgy moments.

Same here Recciebear. I have been out dogging (not today yet) and its like walking on an ice rink.
I am wondering if I will be able to get to work tomorrow. My boss has a 4x4 so maybe he will pick me up

Awake early here when i dont have to be- bummer. So thought i'd nip in here and then go back to bed and look for the sleep fairy. We've had more snow too but will not venture out in it til later.
