    Army Thread Thursday 24th January

Afternoon check in while waiting for tatties to boil.

I just felt so sorry for him getting the back end of my wrath. It's happened to me more than enough times when I was a cashier at Nat West. Puts you right out of sorts for the rest of the day.

Agree with Starty, pull a sicky and get yerself home.

Yep Jenny's in Rome. Hard to believe she's the same woman that was taking panic attacks crossing the door step a couple of years ago. The NLP training and counselling hit the spot.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

      Quick lunchtime check in.

Tabbers good to see you. Sorry you are still haveing shite.

Satzuma, negative will pass hun xx But if you are exhausted, that will amplify it 10 fold. If you can go home to bobos, do it. xx

JC dont feel guilty, dealing with money can be incredibly frustrating. I too have had a go at call centre staff before. Some of them are useless

Better day today as at least I have managed to find a non opiate painkiller that works on my back. Something that Mr Starts was given for his and it WORKS Woohoo. No pain for a while
Thanks Starty - think I just need to rest for a while - think summit coming on - so best stop it in it's tracks.

Great news on the painkillers - what is wrong with your back Starty ?

Foxy Loxey & Tabbers :l hang in there.
Questy - would you try the AB ? - just takes away that fight with yourself - you just cannot take that drink 'cos it will make you sick - so you just have to get on with it.

Yes I did but the one empty office here has been earmarked for a newhire:upset:
20 years service here counts for very little & to be honest I am getting quite tired of it !
Hate being so negative - but that is the mood today Mr Bear - and this place is not helping.
Should I go home & maybe feel better tomorrow ?- 'cos to be honest I am exhausted today
Shame about the office satzy. Maybe it's time for a change after 20 years? I did 20 years in one place and regret it now. The last 7 years were pretty awful. Yep, get yourself off home.

Good to hear you're having a better day and that the PK is working starty. What happened to your back?

Just finished checking my pre-printed passport application form for Dublin. Had to down a bottle of beer in order to stop my hands shaking enough so that I could sign the blooming thing. :upset:

Reccie, wonder what was up with your neighbour? Was it booze related do you think?

I had the day from hell yesterday. Really angry customers being abusive and threatening, also one who said I was about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike Coupled with that I have had toothache and backache and a mouth ulcer! Woe is me

Anyway today is Friday Eve, so we are nearly there !

off to collect the kids, Alex is not going to be happy. HAve ageeed with his teacher not to give him his play station network credit as he is been naughty in school and I have agreed he needs to have four good days in school before he gets it. ITs the weekend in two days which doesnt count so it will be next week before he gets it. Boo hoo hoo!! Wonder if she will take him home with her for the weekend so I dont have to listen to him.....

God Reccie... you have my sympathies. :l And a kick under the arse for good measure

I remember those days all too well - staff members would bring me their timesheets to sign, and I'd have to ask them to leave it on my desk... I couldn't do it in front of anyone because of the shakes. Ditto with cups of coffee...
