So how are you finding this sober malarkey Ms Zenners ?
Do you find it strange - when people call etc.

I have to say I find it 'different' - say when making Sunday dinner for family - sister etc - I used to be 'well oiled' for these occasions - but now I'm SOBER :egad:

Hiya hon!

I've been OK with it. I was a bit shaky on Saturday, coming back to reality, but I've settled in now. It was funny yesterday... someone called by the house to see how rehab went and proceeded to regale me with drinking stories from the girls night out I missed while I was away! LMAO! (She prolly kicked herself when she thought about it after...) ) But, really, I'm fine with it so far.

I sure as shit don't miss the hangovers!

Well, it holds me accountable. You can't really say "Oh, I'll have a glass of wine thanks" when you just got out of the pen!

I think a lot of it boils down to habit. Getting 30 days away from the usual drill kinda breaks the routine, if you know what I mean...

Yeah, it was a bit silly of her. She's not a bessie mate or nowt and I hardly ever see her so I'm not bothered. If it was someone I was close to though I'd be looking at them like they had two heads!

It's funny, I just mentioned this guy I used to go out with in a PM just now... he was a really bad alkie and a nasty piece of work when he was drinking... and HE would bring up MY issues with AL. Cheeky swine!
