    Evening RC, sweetie, molly, Jackie

Awful thing suicide. I've mentioned before that my grandfather hung himself. The folks that are left behind never really come to terms with it.

Let's hope things improve in February, spring is getting closer, I saw daffodils growing while I was out yesterday. Gotta be a good sign :l

          Very deep posts tonight.
My Dad's cousin who was like an uncle to us, hung himself a few yrs back. He was an alcoholic who had tried many times to get sober. A lovable rogue and expert craftsman. Thats when i first thought i needed to do something bout my own drinking

On a brighter note my bulbs are starting to make an appearance in the garden, and after tomorrow i am OFF WORK for a whole week ))))

He was NEVER mentioned to my knowledge until Mum's last few years when her tongue ran a bit freer - he was my Dad's brother and he was a doctor who had an affair with his patient - the disgrace apparently was unliveable with - but - to never mention him like he never existed --- very hard
My nephew killed himself when he was 16 - that was 17 yrs ago and my SIL fell into a bottle and has been there ever since --- it's an appalling way to deal with things, I do remember not caring if I lived or died, but I'd never have actually DONE anything
It is very odd that your father's brother was never mentioned molly. You'd think there must be some reason for that.

Hate to say it, but I can understand how your SIL would turn to the bottle after losing her son like that. How could she ever get over it? It must have been horrific for her.

Funny Satz myself and most of my colleagues joke how we would love a job in tesco or marksies for the same reason. I suppose all jobs carry stress to some extent tho

In Australia , especially in Blue Mountains, loads of lovely little shops.
They would be all little nicky knacky things, books , and at the back a tea/ coffee counter with homemade 'stuff'.
The ladies were all floaty clothes and smily. You know the types - happy heads on them :H

Think we could pull that off Molls & Sweetie ????
