Hello Blondie and Nicey,
HereI am

Haven't been on internet as a friend died suddenly last week. A bit of a shock.

Computer not fixed.... and may not be able to recover the files...This is a real bitch as the folder contained ALL my Buddhist stuff, which means I have to sit and think out a lesson for the kiddies tomorrow. BTW I am going to stop teaching scripture aftr this term.




I'm catching up on lots of gardening and using that energy to keep me busy, plus our friends from the US`are due in 3 weeks so trying to plonk a bit of potted colour in the garden. Haven't forgotten about the pizza oven, it's just that other things have been happening.



Mr G. Did everything get sorted out with your manager?
And how about you Aspey?


We have made the big decision and are going to get a new car to replace the 20 year old Toyota.
Did the rounds of the car yards, and actually found a lovely lady at a Toyota place about an hour away who is giving us quite a good deal, particularly as we're trading in my lovely (but old) yellow stealth ferrari getz. We'll be getting it in about 4 weeks. The Teddies will not be happy as they lurve the yellow car.it's a white Toyota Hilux diesel manual. Should last us till I'm 80!

My package of Fine Fettle Flats arived yesterday. I've just opened the zucchini and almond packet. Yummmmmm. I'l take a pack down to my country grocer and see if they'd be interested in stocking them.

Fine Fettle Flats... expensive but very nice.




Altercation....Every time the cockatoo tried to grab some seed, the lorikeet would go for his eye.
I call them larrikeets.... they are the hooligans of the parrot world. But I guess being the smallest of the parrots, they need to be a bit aggressive.
I'm feeding them and the kookas more than I should, but I want them to hang around for our o/s friends.





This is the book I picked uplast week.

Have skimmed through a few pages. Will settle into it in earnest next week.




In case anybody didn't believe my comment about a crap funeral :H

Hi Rags so good to see you. I tried to post a bit earlier from a rest stop but only managed one before I lost my cell signal. Just back from Sedona. I left right as my friends were entering the lounge at L'Auberge de Sedona (:h that place). We played golf at Oak Creek Country. Beautiful course but crummy weather today. In fact, it was snowing lightly as I headed up I-17 @ 5:30am this morning. That's a bit disconcerting when your going off to play golf and you are wearing shorts, boat shoes, and a light sweater :H I did bring long slacks with me and wore them as it was chilly. Well I'm going to put some dinner together. Bye :l
