Sorry to hear about your boss Mama - she sound horrible. It's nearly the weekend if that's any help. ( I hope you don't work weekends).There's two ways of looking at the holes in your shoes

Quick check in from work. Expecting snow today. I hope it's not too bad before I get to leave this afternoon. I normally drive about an hour in good weather.

I'm home and in. The storm winds are picking up, but nothing in the air yet. My village won't get the worst of it. We are in for a winter storm, but not the east coast blizzard.My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.Comment

Hi Everyone!
Mama - My boss was a BITCH yesterday...she is very condescending and demeaning, I hate that! She seems like a nice person, but I've never liked her...I can sense something that I just don't like. She goes around talking and laughing, but I am ON to her! LOL
It's pouring rain here...we need it. I'd love to be at home on the couch reading a book and enjoying it...but alas, here I am.

a power struggle and a some intimidation on her part
I am older than her ad have been doing this longer....

Hi Mama,
I have a job I like (except for MY boss), and I certainly have my man.
I'm oogling beautiful colored glass objects on EBay today. Can't remember when I last bought anything there, but I do like colored glass. It is attractive and affordable, as long as I avoid the true collectibles. My budget is $10, and I won't pay more for shipping than I do for the object. Mama - Is your hubby watching Big Bang Theory? They love their superheros! LOL - I found a cute FLASH shirt at the thrift store...yeah, I had to get it!
Well my boss is being overly-friendly today. I think she might feel bad for that unnecessary-tirade she went on yesterday. Believe me, she only made a fool of herself...people that witnessed it pulled me aside and said "What's UP with her?"
No men Mama...I am happy just the way I am (for now). Sierra and I are going to re-sign up for the gym tonight...she's older now so hopefully she'll stick with it longer. I sure do miss the sauna/steam room. I'm actually looking forward to getting back....except she wants to start going at 5am...*gulp* I'll let you know how THAT goes. LOL:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:

Sorry for not writing but have been busy and now am finally home, this trip was taxing but glad it's over with.
Did I say I love being home? :-)
FTAF with a few speed bumps during 2014 & 2015 but will succeed.
As of 4/12/2014 I have not smoked at all and feel great.Comment
