    Thanks Glass. I am grateful that he's stable. He has not been in pain since the first heart attack this morning. I guess he's on morphine. I did speak to him after the second one. I told him I was coming.

          My thoughts and prayers are with you, Nora.
          My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.

                    no word from Nora yet...I talked to her this morning and she should be there by now
                    poor thing had to sleep in the airport
                    I have been cleaning and running errands all day...yuck
                    and why oh why do some mothers have to use the F word in front of their kids and in public??
                    I am guilty of using it, but NEVER like that

                            My MIL is also not doing well. Her nursing home called for permission to send her to the hospital, but my SIL refused to grant permission. We do not want to prolong her life, the nursing home can give her more attention and keep her more comfortable than the busy hospital would.
                            My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.

                              We just went through the same thing with my mom and told them no. Afterward the hospice doctor said he would have done the same thing if it had been his mother.
