ARMY THREAD 01/02/2013
Rrrrrrrrrrbit, Rrrrrbbbit, Rrrbbit. Morning Froglet.
SweetPea - you wrote re about the thinking drinking and your time off this coming week that "It will not enhance my time off" ABSOLUTELY (well, for me anyhows)... WHY OH WHY do we think that to spend 50% of our time off ill, guilt ridden, incapacitated is a GOOD way to spend time off?!
I did it. A day off - or a late start - was always an excuse to have more grog. Don't worry too much about the thinking-drinking thoughts Sweetpea. It happens. I get a little one each day still (I work in an arts centre with a bar - the very bar I would be seen at 5pm most evenings, so it's kinda hard to ignore...). But just ride it out. SUrf the urge. It took a good few weeks here - months maybe - to really "get" surfing the urge. But I do now. And very gradually it gets easier.
:hallo: hallo Mario, KTAB, Starty, Tipperoooo, mrsa, Recster and all to come

hello all, didnt post my gratitude last night as I had a really bad news yesterday and more than my fair share of child related hassles but I didnt drink and im grateful for that and also posting a gratitude is a bit lame so to hell with that, every day I make it through sober is gratitude enough for me.!!

Morning guys, hope every one is well, ended with my clients last night was a bit emotional they have doen so well, so proud of them. I start my psychological researcher training on Tuesday then the new job starts, exciting stuffI love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person.
