    Army Thread Tuesday 5th February

What with the expense of 3 nights in the hotel, plus the flights and a new passport and more, I can't really afford to turn up too late at the hotel or i'll be forced to dine in their own restaurant which I expect would cost an arm and a leg. Much as I'd love to meet you and Jackie on the Friday evening, I think I may have to make my own way to Balbriggan. Having said that, I'm completely open minded if you or JC should have any thoughts/ideas of your own. It's my first time at an army meet up, so I intend to go with the flow.
Drop them an e-mail and tell them what time you get in. I did that with the Metro and they let me have the room earlier than they normally would. Think most hotels are bending over backwards to be accommodating (which is their job)

Cake, Indian head massage, hot cross buns, choklit. Your wish is my command.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Yep...the Bracken Court Hotel in the Brigg, satzy. Apparently it's a 10 min walk down the road from molly's home. And now I am definitely off to get some kip. Night all!

Ach that's shite. How are you feeling now?

Don't worry about the marathon training... from what i understand it's the accumulative training over weeks and months, so even if you have had a week off, I wouldn't worry about it.

I had two injuries last year leading up to my first marathon, and forced myself to take it easy (well the physio told me) - had 2 x whole weeks off - and it was better than soldiering on. Still... I understand, I don't like it when I miss a run. It's kind of addictive in the way i'd get pissed off if I couldn't get my beer at 5pm or wine at 9... :H
