    Happy sober Saturday morning

I can relate to that feeling me satzerooney and our molls, in that drinking has defined me as "fun" to be around for such a long time - I'm scared of what I'm going to be like without it !!

Anyway, didn't sleep very well last night - felt like me skin was crawling off with itchiness - it's a bit better now but at 2am it wasn't funny !!

And I had the thoughts "day 3" - how are yer gonna do it questy ? Well, quite simple acshully - I will not drink no matter what - and - I can not drink no matter what - cos I know I can't carry on going round and round like this any more simples
:wavin: Questydrawers!! That ol itchiness is the liver fixing itself I think ?

On the subject of hearing impairment...there are hearing aids available now that are so small you could never tell they were being worn. They do cost a lot though and they're not suitable for people with a big hearing loss. They're fine for "normal" age-related deafness though.

Mr S Dad had a hearing aid that drove him 'nuts' !

Oh those people just exhaust me, don't really aspire to be like that, nowadays I quite like the quiet life - I do miss the 'party girl' a bit - but she's long gone, and mostly I'm very comfy in my 'quiet Molly' skin
Ah ye know I agree Molls. If I'm honest so am in a happy quiet place. Sometimes I look at her and think there is a 'want' that she HAS to be out every evening 'doing':H

I know you weren't taking the piss out of someone with hearing difficulties molly, don't worry. The fact of the matter is that it's equally frustrating for both parties when you're trying to communicate with someone who is deaf. On that subject, I don't really expect to be able to understand anything in April, especially as I imagine most of you will have national or regional accents which I really struggle with. I'm really just coming along to sit in the same room as the rest of you and put faces and voices to the names, although I already have a good idea what most of you look like from FB.

I'm sure you're aware that modern digital hearing aids are programmable, satzy. The aid is only as good as the audiologist who programmed it. And you have to have a very tight fitting earmould or the aid will whistle if it's a powerful one.

Blimey...I didn't realise your liver was that bad, molly. Is it better now?

And I'm sure your liver is fine. My sister is your age and went through a 'phase' a few years ago. She was not a big drinker - but took to it and had to go doc. She had the 'itch' even though it was a short time she was on the lash'
Your liver is the only organ that repairs itself fully - once the AL is taken away so you will be grand.
