Of course it's a lot down to diet THEY say............ and listening - I think you eat very well ?

    No horseburger for you
Yes, I do eat well, even if I say so myself. Fresh fruit and veg, fish, chicken, and very occasionally lean beef. Almost no processed foods (just vegetable stock really), no chocolate, sugar, salt, soft drinks or anything of that ilk. Now if I could only get rid of the caffeine and the booze I could be on to something! :upset:

Fascinating read this morning. All this happening when me and my dawg were in the land of Nod.

Shall I talk really slowly today.........:H:H:H

Me and Our Molls bonded over our livers. Mine was shot to hell and was given between 2 and 4 years to live back in 2004. Stopped drinking for a few months and it was perfect so perfect I thought I could carry on drinking. STOOPID or what. So that was me on, off, on, off, on off for next 3 and half years. Poor liver wouldn't have known whether it was coming or going. Happy to say these days my liver is just soooooooooooo perfect I could be a donor.

And it affects all our other organs not just the liver, heart, lungs (makes asthma worse), brain even the skin.
That is the end of today's lecture.

Deep breaths, questie. Is there no possibility of removing yourself when that sort of thing's going on? It sounds to me as though you need to have a proper talk with your husband about the drink/depression/stress thing, cos he clearly isn't getting it.

That's why Dr :h was reluctant to give me a liver test for at least a year after I stopped July 09. Just so I got a good chunk of sobriety in.

                            Hi and bye sweetie

Had a thank you card in the post this morning from my niece for a small present I gave her for her 18th birthday. She's a lovely girl and a real credit to her parents. She wants to become a doc and she's going to read medicine at university this autumn. The front of the card had a photo of her taken on her big day. I have to say that the pic made me cringe cos she's holding up an unopened bottle of champagne to the camera. The drinks companies have already indoctrinated her. Maybe in 10 years time, if she becomes a GP, she'll have a different view about drink.

Yup. You can join my 'running' club Mollers :l
Now - Jesus I'm soooooo busy - off to get my eyebrows waxed & tinted so that I I am massive and look good watching the telly tonight :H:H

Yes, I agree about the card, molly. You don't expect that sort of thing from teenagers nowadays. As I said, she's a real credit to her parents.
