If it's meat - then I'll have it.
Eating 'caveman style' this week in an effort to get healthy & shed 14 lbs.

    Wish me luck !
AND to do this one must do a shitload of research to see what one can & can't eat.

      I can see Reccy's avatart.

We're a heady 11C today. Got the washing out on the line.

Mr JC's been awake since silly o'clock. Done the veg, hung the washing out, gone to the library, nipping into the shops. No, he's not on a promise it's all for me to make.....

We'll feed you up in Dublin.
I want to go somewhere with chips.

The son and heir has given up meat , beer and bread for Lent. Should be interesting.

I changed my avatar yesterday satz. You might need to clear your browser's cache if it's looking for the old avatar.

I'm following the caveman diet too, satz, without realising it. Didn't know it had a name!

Hi and bye JC, off to the kit hen to do my caveman impression

Can live without AL beer (do!)

Could maybe live without meat for a wee while

But bread too...? I gotta have one vice, no?

*quickly hoards chocolate under the duvet*

I didn't give anything up for lent... but then I'm not that way inclined religiously. Let us know how your son and heir get on with their multiple giving-ups... how very virtuous... or mad.

                  Yup !
If a caveman came into your house - what could you feed him ?
Fruit & veg is my guess + meat etc. Food with life in it still!

Not baked beans out of a tin - in that tin for years - young RC

Apparently the way our bodies process food has not changed since caveman days - so we are killing ourselves with crap.
Just something else for you to worry about :H

Morning army. Nice day here too. sunny spells but windy and cool. Some of you have been quite busy this morning with cooking shopping and washing out before 11.30. I slept in till 11 this morning as i woke at 3 am and didn't get back asleep till bout 7am. Fed the cats and Guinea pig and put some washing in the machine. Off to have a shower and then need to go to friggin Tesco for a small shop. Tipp the Braai food for lunch sounds delicious. I read both Alan Carr and Jason Vale's kick the drink easy and both books are almost identical but good information and tipps. I think Alan Carr's version was the first so its a wonder he didn't sue Jason for copy right or similar. The book sounds good Molly the high society woman and another i would like to get from the library is Carlolinr Knapp's drinking a love story. Its an old book and out of print in the shops but the library might have a copy. My nearest is Shankill. Have a lovely sunday i'll check back later.

Runners, the son and heir hasn't got a religious bone in his body. Think the last time he went to church was his christening. I'll let you know how he gets on. We've been texting about a spicy butternut squash lasagne.
Nope I couldn't give up bread. That was the only hard bit of Slimming World then when I caved I went straight for the thick white toastie loaf from M & S.

:h M&S. I'm sure Colin the Caveman could be enticed to eat thick white toastie loaf from M & S
