The last time I had any alcohol was Dec 20th, of course this was after some sober time with slips here and there. I was just fed up and I had antabuse so there was no excuse.
The 12/20 episode was so stupid that I could not kid myself that any drinking at all was OK.
Also I am an atheist and very generous all year long so Christmas is not a big deal to me. I don't go to Christmas parties, New Year's Eve parties or any of that anyway. That time of year has no special sway for me.
You know- it just gets tot he point where it is just not worth it. If you weigh the pros and cons-well there is really no justification for it. I really feel like this year is going to be great.
And MWO is definitely a big part of it; SO many great people here who understand completely!Comment
