Hi Reccie well not really i'm 7 or 8 days in again but its staying stopped is the problem but i keep trying as it has such a grip on me. I get a few weeks here and there so gotta plan beter methinks. Not keen on AA but might get back to meetings when i'm ready. I hope you can try taper down and get some sobriety back again but in your own time when you're ready. I must try those magnesium tablets if i can get them over the counter or on prescription. Anyways night from me catch you all in the morning some time.:wavin::bedtime:

Ah..but you must get a lot of job satisfaction, helping your patients, I would think? Or am I being naive? So many people do jobs they don't really enjoy.

It's not impossible to change career direction, peanut. I read chemistry at uni, then got a job as an electronics engineer, moved on to being a computer hardware engineer and finally ended up as a computer systems analyst. Changing career direction takes an awful lot of commitment and hard work though and you have to really want it. In my case, I would have been out of work if I'd not retrained, so I had no choice in the matter. But, I suppose my point is that if you really want to change career enough, it can be done.

xpost Reccie I know what yer sayin Reccie, but i do like nursing and theres nothing else i can think of that i'd really wanna do or be, well bar a lady of leisure or physio to the Ireland rugby team, wonder do they need a nurse?:H As you say it takes alot of commitment and hard work so theres nae point in me doing something else just for the hell of it.

Next time i have a computer prob guess who's gonna get tortured? :H

                        Must away now,

take care Reccie and thankyou, it is good to see ya :l
