I didn't see those! I shouldn't have gone back there. I want a Sheila Maid! (we called it a pulley!) The finials...
I think postage will be too much to WA, so that shall be my saving grace!

              I've got one!
Had it for years. It's hanging in the kitchen with my pans and kitch things. I got it from Restorations. Wonder if you've got branches over there?

No Restorations over here, Bridge; I should just have stripped the family home in the UK!

Cheeses twice, Blondie ... there goes another hour of my life I'll never get back. I reckon I could make good use of the Leather Fly Swat and the Tube Thermometer but.

Thanx... my little piece of paradise.

Dobermans and Shepherds are mistakenly given the big nasty dog tag, reality is they will love you to death, and will be the most loyal you could imagine, 99% of time they are big softies who soak up the praise n attention, only when they feel themselves, their family (you) or ther property threatened will they bar up, and usually then you will be glad they did.

                        PS you from uk?

Indeed I am! Though lived longer overseas than there..

My neighbour had a gorgeous playful GS but the size of his teeth... I wouldn't put my hand in his mouth the way I do with my dog:H

Alrighty then. The woman is trying to pull me into something deeper than I want to go (Geesh, that didn't come out right :H) She is making plans that include me without consulting me first. She has a wedding to go to, so do I need to be on her arm??? I've been out with her twice (dates) and a half dozen times in social settings where we were close. She talks too much....never shuts up on the phone. I use a phone to order stuff like pizza, or schedule an appointment. I can't just bullshit for the sake of it. I'd love it if she came over, we kissed , than she opened a fricking book and read. Listen, I don't mind casual conversation, but there comes a point you now. She'll call ask me how I'm doing and then immediately launch into thirty minute discourse on some new therapeutic modality. The girl has some lung power I must say. I bet she could wreck dive without scuba !

So, after I calmed down a bit and realized I don't have to get all that involved I felt so much better. She is a sweet, smart, and beautiful woman. Perhaps just not the right fit for me. I'm just chalking her incessant chatter to nerves, and a bit of fallout due to her career. She has to do most of the listening. I assume the occasional core dump may correct itself. We shall see. Froggy :upset::upset::upset::upset:

Blondie & Meron - That's pretty funny - I'm a big dog person. I loved my now long departed German Shepherd/Black Lab X and a Great Dane. I'm actually rooly rooly scared of chihuahuas. And I'm not kidding...
