Hello undies
Aha.... I should have guessed that the site outage originated with you bunch of reprobates.
Techie.... You really do have a thing for pink on the ladies.... Guess I'd better not let on that I sometimes wear pink and indeed was wearing pink yesterday.
Though I do draw the line at pink with flowers
(I leave that to the under 10 set)
The gonging is proceeding right now perhaps ...... Eagerly awaiting the snuff video...
Speaking of colours - I saw "Oz: The Great and Magnificent" yesterday - with 3 kids and 3 adults. I'd read a bad review but decided that the kids would still like it (and my daughter had been champing at the bit to see it) .... And Wednesday is cheap day for the ladies at the movies here........... and we found it in English with subtitles!! (most adult movies have the original soundtrack and subtitles, but kids can't read that well so they often dub kids movies into Japanese).
Well .... that reviewer was a cynical curmudgeon because it was just so much fun!! The adults loved it ( there was quite a few double entendres to keep us entertained, the kids loved it and we ate so much popcorn and chocolate that we were ready to burst.

Blossom - my fav colour is pink! I have lots, and even have my very own pink bike.
I reckon Jool-ya's face will be pink for a few hours this arvo/evening! Yikes.....It is not what we do, but how much love we put into the doing.

Arvo Blossom, I'm so glad you're here ...
My young thing friend did an Exchange Student programme in Sapporo and then won a scholarship to study at Waseda where she finished her MBA last year. I am so stoked by her achievements but I really, really don't understand how an aussie girl from Melbourne can get an MBA in Japanese. Defies this little brain...
I used to throb her pics and reports of daily life in Japan but the thought of living in Tokyo scares me shitless. After all - I live in a place of Pop: 1,000.

Oh wow! I didn't realise there was an election coming up in Australia.
Pisses me off no end because I've ended up losing my voting rights because I've stayed away too long.... How they can reconcile that with compulsory voting I don't bloody know.
And without taking Japanese citizenship (and giving up my Aussie one) I can't vote here either!!
Universal sufferage for everyone!!!
Okay rant over.....
I had a romantic relationship a long time back with one of the pollies who was a major player in the last election - made for very interesting viewing for a while.
Oh Tokyo isn't that busy (says she about a city of 120 million). It is a lot of little villages joined together with some crazy busy pockets and some really quite peaceful pockets. I live in a neighbourhood that isn't that is only a couple of train stops from the main circle line and some busy city centres..... But my neighbourhood is really quiet with little tiny streets with no cars and everyone on foot and riding bicycles. There is not much space, but everyone has little gardens in front of their houses. I'm actually about to head to the plant and flower ship on the corner on my bike (red because it goes faster) to buy some plants to replace the dead ones in the planters on my roof garden.

Was it one of the independents? Was it Oakeshott?(:H What a funny name)
Hey Blossoms I just read your thread about adult ADD. I was diagnosed late myself, only a year or so ago. Definitely think there is a strong link with alcohol abuse. There are a few of us around the site. I only take meds to concentrate for college. If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

I probably shouldn't kiss and tell.... Though to be honest there isn't much dirt to dish.... Really decent nice bloke, he moved back across the country for his work and I was still a young lass at Uni, he flew back to visit me a couple of times, sent me really nice flowers for Valentine's even after I started dating someone else. And no it wasn't Oakeshott.
