Morning All!

Well...Sierra's dad let her down again! She was planning (and excited) to go to their house today, and she got a text from her step-mom last night saying they would get her on Monday...the text kinda seemed like it was a suprise that she was even coming (?). That leads me to believe that her dad didn't even mention it to his wife. THAT'S how excited he is to have his daughter visit! And yes, I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE to rip him a new one, but that would just make Sierra feel bad, so I will try to control myself! Anyhow, we had another crying session (she's also PMS-ing so this is a BAD combo!) I just wanna punch somebody!

But anyway...happy Friday! I'll try to simmer down now

I love my nook! it has made reading so much easier, lighter! And I can download books from our library systems without leaving my home office, and at any time day or night.
However, the wife has made comments that perhaps I may be reading too much...what do you think she means? LOL

My thoughts go out to you and Sierra; thess issues are so hard on the children. i am just glad she has a strong woman (YOU) to help her understand.

LOL! I would agree except for the fact that if he's dead he can't keep signing the checks! That's the ONLY thing he's good for...consistent child support. He doesn't know this yet, but he's going to keep paying LONG after she's 18. I will break that news to him when the time comes!

I have an iPad but I don't put books on it...I guess I'm old-school and still like the actual feel of pages.

BHOG - I think your wife may be feeling neglected. You better put down the Nook and do your husbandly duties! :h

I cook, I clean, I do yard work and homeowner stuff. Keep the bills paid and the vehicles fueled. What else can a woman want? LOL

Sierra just got a package in the mail from her Nana, it's a beautiful dress. I guess Nana will be here on Monday as well...so things are looking up. Sierra and Nana have always had a special relationship (despite Nana's son being Sierra's dad. LOL)

it was good....just very dark and sad and not what I expected......

Wish I had time to sit & really post. But, I did want to check in at least.

Juja - I'm not doing well either. We'll get this. One Step at a Time.

The kids have come over to spend a week with us. That will be good for me.

Just went & saw my Uncle. He can't talk but he knew I was there. It was hard....they have upped the morphine and just trying to keep him comfortable. I told him that I loved him and that Dad loved him and was waiting for him.

We got off early, so I am home. Just loaded some laundry and will try to take a nap. I can't nap like I used too......must part of hitting 50 I have heard
too funny, K9...the bear and the dog....sounds like a good name for an inn
