Good Morning Army! And a happy and sober St. Patrick's Day to all.
Yesterday was a beautiful, sunny, warm day onn the Wasatch Front. So I spent the day running errands, and doing Harry Homeowner stuff aorund here. Today is going to be rainy and cool, so off to the grocery store and then more inside Harry Homeowner stuff.
Mrs BHOG and I were talking yesterday about my recent concerns regarding possibly drinking. I told her that I need to keep my mind and hands busy, doing something of value, else I slip up. She commented that this situation was something she was aware of, after all we have been married for 35 years! Duh.
My empoloyer, a not for profit College, will allow me-and her-to earn degrees for free! So starting April 25th, this old -and his wife- are both going back to College.
Some of you will say, so what? Well, here's what. I haven't been in college for almost 40 years. (When I took computer programming, is was Cobal, Fortran, and punch cards.) So it will be a great challenge of these old gray brain cells.
So, I will keep the Armyy posted on my success!
And Thanks, Army for keeping me sober!

                  Yo Zennifer,
Not to worry, I'll just dry the pots on me sleeves.

He sounds like he's entering the Terrible Twos that children have or or Terrible 6/8 months in dog/cat years.
I know a lot of Labs are put up for adoption at 8 to 18 months as their owners can't cope with their complete and utter barminess.

We watched My Cat From Hell on Animal Planet last night, Zennie. It was like watching those series about misbehaving kids - makes you feel grateful for what you have . It's all relative, you see? :H.

That's what Cheryl said, funnily enough. It's his birthday on the 20th... he'll be one in human years which is, I think, 7 in cat years. Another year of this shit then I get the emo teenager!

I think I'm going to get a kitten. Been toying with the idea for the last few weeks. I'll toy with it a bit more...
