I do not think any of us should try to measure ourselves against each other and find ourself wanting.

We are all so different and all trying to find our way out.

I look at some of you and think what brilliant posts and insights. Then have to remember we are all here for the same fight/goal.

Does that make sense??

hello, poxi day here, going to have a pj day and watch little house on the prairie all day. Need to get my act together, think im going through the bloody menopause or something , mentally I seem to be all over the place . Theres alot going on but its mainly all good. I need to get a grip pn my drinking tho, been drinking away over weekend, since thursday and its not helping my poor ole head. Come on Limers, get a grip!!'

Just popping in to say "hi" - hope we are all well

And Limeyloo - I too am all over the place and it's playing havoc with the AL consumption - not every day, but every other day - cos I'm not an alcoholic right ?? Errrmmm .......... nope !! Of course I am, I just can't face it :-(

Right then Limeyloo,
You know and I know that drinking doesn't help. So that's the first thing to do get rid of it no matter what. Might mean taping up yer gob and sitting on your hands but whatever it takes. Right.

Secondly believe it or not I don't tell people what to do (there's always a first time) have a trip down to the health shop and get yourself some Black Cohosh.

Another of my brilliant ideas coming up. Have a word with the people in the health shop. They're pretty knowledgeable about all kinds of stuff.

Honestly I wish I could say that every other day is better than everyday but I'll bet you know deep down that you're just keeping the fire alive. Don't give it any fuel at all and it will go out.

How bizarre !!! I was trying to think of an analogy for it and I thought its like trying to put a fire out by putting petrol on it !!

Just saw a thread about drunkorexia - not eating so you can drink more - we'll,that is certainly something I am guilty of - need to get a grip on that too me thinks

So, day 2 today (I have at least 3 day 2's a week ATM) but I'm gonna make it to day 3
