Ow
Ow!
Jeezy peeps. Bliksem wind. Fecking bliksem wind. And the bliksem cold... yes, the fecking bliksem cold.
My calves and arse hate me. 22miles - the first 9 up a hill, with a total climb of 1000ft ARRRGGGHHHHH - am i some kind of fricking masochist?!?! Honest, had to stop 3 times (usually stop once for a pee) to stretch cos me legs were screaming.
Congratulations P3 on passing level 2 :goodjob:
Loving the food porn sunday - I'm a bit of a fan of River Cottage, Tipps. Just came back to a cheese and tarragon omelet and lots of toast and butter followed by flapjack...
Orf to wash and watch the F1 highlights... and sleep... and then eat some more

And a good morning (or whatever time of day it is for you) to All.
I do an incredible marinated leg of Lamb, then slow smoke for 6 hours.
It is expensive $25.00 USD for the boneless leg. So this is a "celebration" meal for us.
Not much on the plate today, shen shopping and house work.
Then, perhaps some "time" with the DW!
A flounce in PJ's? Doesn't count. LOL
BHOGBHOG

Jam jarred. Turned out a beautiful dark red colour.
:wavin: Bhoggo. That smoked lamb sounds very lekker.
Family can choose which leftovers they'd like for dinner. I'm not lifting a finger again. Heard from mum - sounds as if she's enjoying herself with the other old-timers. She says it's noticeable how much her bestie drinks at night. Mum went AF when she moved in. I told her she'd have to buy her own :HI'll do whatever it takes

Is yer arse getting arsey with ya Arsey? Well done on the run.
And well done Piingu on the skating.
(Well done Zenny on doing sweet FA in the way of exercise today.)
BHOG... lamb is cheap at Costco... relatively speaking. Love their lamb chops... 8 thick cut ones for about $14. (My attempt at vegetarianism failed...)
What does BLIKSEM mean?

BLIKSEM
I'll try and do the phonetic spelling later... no good at that.
Literal translation: thunderbolt
Metaphorically: one of the most versatile swearworrds in Afrikaans. Most often used as an equivalent to "you bastard". Typically also uttered as an expression of pain. From my own bitter experience, I said "bliksem" the last time I clumsily tried to hammer a nail into a wall and hit my thumb instead. Or when I realised, just too late, that I had been caught by a traffic camera.
Stay tuned to an Army Thread near you for the next wordI'll do whatever it takes

So can one say "You're a bliksem" or is it more along the lines of "Bliksem arsehole"? Enquiring minds, you know...
