So true Satz, at the start i wasnt out to prove much other than not drinking for awhile, now its an everyday occurrence. I just went for a walk at 8pm and i thought to myself as i was walking that a year ago i would of been drinking, instead i now have a life i love with the people that mean the most to me in the world.

Wont be much work happening on Monday Mr G.

Haha SL. Don't be letting a little rain scare you off! Rug up with a waterproof/windproof jacket and hood or cap and go for it. You'll be the only crazy f'ker out there. Yep, we are lucky to be sober. It really is something special isn't it? And we are making it happen for ourselves. Make no mistake. Our decision to take back our precious lives has reverberations and a ripple effect throughout our homes, our relationships, and the Galaxy's near and not so far.

It's 12.20 a.m. thursday as i write. I'm feeling very good, and just reflecting in the quiet of a midweek night how damn great it is to be sober. Now that i've racked up over 4 months AF it's becoming a lifestyle, with less chance of turning back. Life has it's rough spots, but all in all, i'm a happy fella. I really see that the best is yet to come. Rightio, Off to bed. G'night.

Hope all's well there Jane and you're taking some 'me' time regularly.

Right on SL. For me any drama, bills, everything just has a much more negative slant to it when in the haze of booze. Easy to walk away and not deal with things and let them slide.

Day 129 at the beach pad but who's counting.

Must enrol for uni today. A couple of part time subjects for next year. Hope it goes smoothly and there's not the usual bureaucratic bungling where i have to sort out the process for admin folk paid to do just that! lol. Exciting though.

Top of the morning to y'all from a stormy beach pad. The thunder has been thunderous, including some caused by an overdose of maaagnificent mince pies last night.

Shooting for 6 months, then it'll be a downhill coast to a year! All's well, and checking in here and to places like the newbies nest keeps my mind on the job and doesn't let me forget where i've been. But it mostly supports my plan and daily action to focus on what i want and where i'm going.

FAL where are you my friend?
