Just want to drop in with a word of advice for those non-Aussies reading this thread. You are being lied to about Tip Ratting. Back in the good old days it was an honourable way to spend a weekend, but the neo-capitalists have seen the light and you are no longer allowed to enter a tip and take stuff without paying a considerable fee for the privilege.
However, being an enterprising mob, we have a new outlet for our scavenging inner-child. They're called Hard Rubbish Chuck Outs and it's fun and profit for the whole family!!

GHE - Thank you SOOOO much for the fashion tips! I was so worried that I would wear the wrong thing and ruin the ambiance of the whole entire outing. Now that I know what to wear, I think the only other challenge will be my usual delimma, the first date is usually great, but I rarely (ok, never) get called back for a second date. What am I doing wrong? I mean, don't tell me that pickin' and scratchin' things ain't a turn on?:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:

Well G, up here in Qld we're in that transitional weather phase I was talking about, so I'm alternating between the flanno and stubbies, and the singlet and trackies. I don't have to go out today so my choice of footwear is that perennial favourite - the pink stripy bedsock. I do look rather fetching, if I say so myself.Guitarista;1516928 wrote:

Grand day had working here. Chilling and being a boring bugga at home on a Saturday night. Up early in the morning for work again anyway. But, I have ice cream, and fruit cake for tonights entertainment!

Ahhhh, it's good to laugh. So about the week of my bro. I took the week off because I don't know what to expect. I want to do something special but I keep getting too emotional. I would love to make a video montage of pictures and set them to music. I also want to have a photo book done by snapfish or one of those sites for our family members.
But on the day? On the day his girlfriend came beating on my sliding glass doors and fell to the floor, and my life changed forever, I don't know what I will do.
His ashes are buried on his beloved tree farm, where we enjoyed so many BBQs and bonfires. We may plant some flowers and make a fire.
I don't know, and I don't have a specific plan. I wish I could do something special for him but I keep getting frozen with pain.
BUT! Today I have the whole day to myself, and I am going to the spa for girlie treatments! Hair, nails, massage, the works!!! Today will be a good day my friends.Day 1 again 11/5/19
