    But to your question. For me, I am simply much happier when AF. I am happy naturally when AF, even though I am not where I want to be in life, and am working on that, I can say I feel relaxed, not anxious anymore, not depressed anymore(very rarely), and this is all down to not drinking AT ALL. Not 1 or 2/3 drinks once or twice a week, NO, my happiness is a direct result of zero alcohol in my system for more than a week, 24/7. I am told I am funny when drinking, but much funnier when I am sober 24/7. I have also been told I can be boring when drinking too. Like most drunks.
    I have found I cannot even begin to work on goals when drinking. I lose all days when I drink.

    I can't drink 1 or 2 or 3. Doesn't work that way for this alkie. Sheer agony to even try.

      Hiya Cindi,

      Yep, me too. Even when I have 'enforced' moderation, and kept it to a few drinks once or twice per week, I still feel a bit shit, and compromised. I know I am not shining at my best. Just 1 or 2 drinks a week will have a dulling effect on me. I'm soon back to my old 24/7 routine. It's all or nothing for me. It was a boring way to exist I found.

            All's grand with me thanks for asking, off work for today so just trying to get my arse in gear to do something productive. Just adjusting the caffeine levels as I speak. No rain too so that's a bonus!! Think my garden will receive some attention.

                    Will you be able to push my wheelchair around during our date to the Tip? The good thing is that now I don't need to worry about what shoes to wear! And I think my potato sack dress will do just fine for the occasion.

                      We had beautiful rain here on the gulf coast today. My garden is loving it. Have a great af time.
                      No matter how far you go or how fast you run, you can't get away from yourself. ....said at an AA meeting. It stuck with me.

                                Will be celebrating the solstice by doing yoga in the middle of my city. Not yet up to running a mile on a beach or anywhere. But my downward dog will be working it. Go, baby (comment to myself). Have a great weekend everyone.
