Well, all's good in G land this morning. Seeing Jim soon, followed by an easy jog/swim on the beach after my 12 k run tuesday and longish 'recovery' run/walk yesterday. It's great to be sober. Loving the feeling and my possibilities.

I was out and about for the holidays and the question struck me "where's the rock n roll" and in my city there isn't any. As musicians we need to collectively keep on rockin, what do you say?

Been playing more in December than I ever have, all original pieces and in my humble opinion it all sounds damn good for once.

2014 is going to be an excellent year! Hope the start of it has been good to you Mr. G!

Yes i say, yes! Glad to hear you're playing. I know Caper can play percussion. I have gigs on jan 11th, feb 1st. so far. Looking forward to rawking out. Originals are where it's at. Self expression. As an aside, One of my goals for 2014 is to post far more selfies. Surely i jest!

I heard great music twice in December - the first time in YEARS I have been completely sober listening to live music. I will say that I think I got a lot more out of it and really experienced the music more than ever. Good luck playing around, Caper, Alls and G. I would LOVE to listen to an MWO show! Let's put that on the books.

Just including you in the convo Caper. No booze links intended, or occurred to me. I meant percussion in the musical sense i.e. drums, bongo's, tamberine's etc....I see percussion as inclusive, and something everyone can do. Please accept my apologies if i've offended you in any way.

The more resources we have in our toolbox the better i reckon. Mainly because for me our addiction/affliction/battle with the bottle is so cunning and potentially dangerous.

I wasn't sure when i read if you were having a bit of fun or upset. Glad to hear you have a messed up sense of humour. Me too. I reckon it helps.

A cool saturday morning here at the beach pad, around 20c forecast today. Should be sunny patches. Working this weekend, so paying that blasted ferryperson. Can't complain though and i won't. Gratitude list of 10 things and meditation done. Having a cuppa and cruising the boards here a little. More on twitter throughout the day.
