Fricken spam, i can generally ignore it but it's annoying.
You're obviously working damn hard, g, good for you big guy.
Today i rode, i dog walked, i did a rubbish run, and a clothing purge. Feel at least like I've achieved something!
Collating paperwork for lawyers, Lordy how come they need so much!
Looking at real estate too, cos ultimately, this freedom i have allows me to go anywhere.....wowzers . A freakin kind of dawning.

Good onya Cori. Sounds like lot's to keep you busy, which ain't such a bad thing in early sobriety. But i hope the paperwork stuff isn't too stressful. Any idea's where you'd like to move to?

Howdy SF. Thanks friend. I threw my t.v. out a few months ago, not that i watched it much. But now i miss the daily news, as i used to switch it on sound down of a morning and read the headlines on the bottom of screen. Now i've got to search for it on the net. lol. There is a lot to be positive about in this life, this world, and i for one need to remind myself of these things from time to time. I'm an optimistic fella, but i've got to keep tabs on any depression creeping in. Not too difficult as long as i keep growing at this point.

A maagnificent day here. Working on a tune for a fella and it's shaping up ok. More music making tomorrow. Noice.

Interesting you say it has been relatively easy G - like you I have started and stopped more times than I care to think of, but this time something has clicked! I am trying not to overthink it, but accept it gratefully - and live in hope that it has indeed stuck. I sincerely hope it is the same for you....

I remember your struggles well SL. I am absolutely delighted you have achieved 6 months and beyond, as of course you are. My previous attempts at quitting didn't quite have my deeper thinking mind on board. It feels different now, and not a struggle. But i know only too well how cunning my addiction is, so i am on guard, but i feel relaxed and focused and everything within me feels aligned to the mission of a 24/7 sober living G man, unlike before. But i am cautious and not getting cocky.

Day 26. 8.10 Sunday morning here and feeling good. It was great to work on some music last night for the first time in many weeks as i'd previously been absorbed in study and assignments, but that's over now, so more time to make sounds. Rehearsal with my 2 bands today which doubles as a social catch-up with some good mates.

Day 27, i'm in heaven. 27, a great number. I am the resurrection of Jimi Hendrix, Janis, Morrison who all died at age 27.......well, what i mean is today i will use their free spirit and attitude as a positive energy. Aside from that, feeling pretty good. Some mini admin life tasks today, then it's off for a run, then music making.

Thanks SL. Day 28. Quite a nice little landmark really. Ain't it amazing how the days rack up so quickly.

Feeling good and chilled. I see music making ahead today, and many kilometres of running, one foot in front of the other. Simple, yet so powerful and transformative. Throw in some healthy eating and plenty of water and you give yourself every chance.

'Tis a relaxed tuesday evening here at the beach pad.

Just back from a local community mental health forum. The food put on was great!

Erm....oh yeah, the speakers were of interest. There was a talk on the now undisputed connection between diet and mental health. We heard that junk food kills more people worldwide now than smoking. Sheesh!
