Friday morning here punters and the sun is shining. Yeaah! A gym session today i reckon, followed by a run to the beach. Or.....maybe a run, some exercises on the beach pull up bars, and a relaxing tramride to the city to check out some chicks. Yeah, that's what i'll do. Last time i was in town, a gorgeous city bird looked twice at me. She was either thinking, mmmm, hot guy, or.....geeez, what a head! But I'll never know.

Very close to boozin today. The issue was anger over my uni results. I didn't pass, but the results don't add up to me, so there are questions. Will follow that up next week, but i'm not getting attatched to the outcome. Looking like i'll be asking for a refund along with giving them some stern feedback on the presentation and thin course content, which the rest of the class have noted. Still, i'm not complaining, just a bit pissed off. It'll be okay either way. Kept to my plan and went for a long run first though, then into the cold bay for a dip. That sorted me out. Feel much better and chilled now.

Funny thing is when i got home, i opened my email to find i've been offered a place next year for an honours degree i've applied for at the same uni. Brightened me up a bit, but i'm still gonna shake up their lazy academic arses next week and get them to outline their reasons for the fail gradings in detail, cause it's not quite adding up. I did pass some subjects lol.

The winner here though is me. I didn't drink at them, or at all, and i managed my anger. Where's the chocolate!

Yep, all good here thanks Glassy. Once i hit the beach this arvo and dived into the bay after my run, all was well and back in perspective. I'm sorry your sober-muscles had to endure such a tough work out but it does at least make you stronger than you were just a day ago :l.

I agree that following up on the scores is important - if your system is like ours (automated), a simple coding error can make a difference so it is always worth checking.

Congrats on being accepted into the next program although I think that gives you a little glimpse at the underbelly of the university's operating system - further reason to double-check them!
