    This is what counsellors and psychologists are for. We need to use them sometimes because the good ones can help, and there are good ones out there.

    Cori, if we don't take action, make changes and take a stand for our mental and emotional health, then nothing will change. It will get worse as we dwell and dwell once more on negatives and magnify them, especially after a drink.

    It sounds to me like you are putting yourself back into an unsafe situation again. You do have a choice in where you go and what you say, so don't be afraid to put yourself FIRST.

    I say this with respect. Feel free to tell me to not stick my fat beak in and mind my own business.

            Are you still in plaster? If not is the pool an option? I suppose this is a good opportunity to learn another language. Spanish? French? Strayan?

            Off to work today. Well, out and about really. To the city for a union mass meeting on proposed new work conditions, then to another of our sites for a meeting, so a cruisey day that should prove interesting and insightful. Long weekend for me to look forward to end of week. Yeaah!

            Cool gig last sunday, and another one this sunday arvo ripping up my geetar's fretboard. They even pay me!

                  Work was busy, g. Biting dogs, sick dogs, dogs been hit by cars, etc etc. Got thru the day. Lamb chops & fat laden hash browns for dinner no doubt my cholesterol will thank me. And you, music man? Have a decent day? Where's all the other flat mates?

                    Hi Mr. G and company, just arrived at my international consulting gig in West Africa. Hoping to get an exercise and healthy meal routine going. Maybe even do a little yoga in the evenings. Onward!

                      Hi Free at last. On the road again I see! How's the weather in west Africa? I hear Mr. Mandela is not too well, let's hope he is comfortable at least. Exercise and yoga sounds a good plan. I like running when i'm in a new place, and exploring nooks and cranny's. Safe travels, and take care.

                          An admin day today, which should get the management monkey orf my back. No doubt something will come up which will thwart this plan!

                            Hellooooo Housemates and The Master G ~ How's goin'?

                            I have been away for a few days, swirling 'round in my 'lil pity pot :flush: Not feeling well and sad about it. But, today is 5 months sober (Thanks NoSugar for reminding me!) and I need to be Happy and Grateful...which I am. I do not wish chronic pain on anyone. Its soul draining. Everything feels bleak and I'm going to stop being a bloody downer. Right. Now.

                            Very nice to make your acquaintance Coriander. How did you come to choose that screen name? Love it, btw. Looking forward to hearing more about you/your life whenever you're ready to share. Wonderful to have you joining the abode.

                              Nice to see you again. Congratulations on 5 months AF. Very Noice!

                              I really wish that some more effective pain management techniques appear real soon. You've every right to feel pissed off, but you are amazing how you have remained AF, gone on vacation with your daughter, and keep a chirpy demeanor. You are doing an Incredible job and i'm in awe!

                              Must say I have noticed Niner's bossy side has tended to flourish since she's been on crutches.
