Raining here, supposed to all day...too bad I didnt finish my hut. I have no escape but the gym and it doesnt open till 2...had a nice jam last with a couple guys. Wasnt to fond of their choice of music, but think we might pick up some gigs....Techie, she looks like a very nice lady...Tawny, the memorial sounded good. My Dad was KIA Vietnam 1970. He was in 27 years. My kids Dad was in too at 19. He was born in 49, but he is gone too at 58. Seems like so many never see 60...the kids had a friend spend the night, think I will make them a nice breakfast...

Just back from a really nice Memorial Service for another Viet Vet mate who's gone to god. Another cancer job. He was only 61. Doesn't seem right. One really interesting thing ... they had a great video presentation showing him as a young bloke in Vietnam. Handsome as but what made me sit up was how utterly mature these blokes seemed in comparison to the 19-year olds I currently know.
At his request, the exit music chosen was "We gotta get out of this place ..."
It was nice.
Happs - don't know about Techie's versary - he's prolly still being gonged.

Burp.
61? He must have been horribly young to go to war?
And you're right, I fear for this generation. If something real ever happens they won't know what the hell to do.
It is my three year anniversary ladies. I'd like to thank all you Undies for being such an integral part of my life. Many of you are my little hero's. I use you as a barometer I as I continue to plot my course of long term sobriety. The fact that you remembered means everything to me. Now I have to compose myself and make Emma pancakes. I love you all so very much.Outside of a dog a book is mans best friend. Inside of a dog its too dark to read

Morning all,
Techie - do you ever wonder how your life would be now if you hadn't made that decision three years ago? The things you would have missed out on? Huge congrats to you today. Now for the hairdo ...
Cool band pic, Bird.
Nice autumnal day. Into it, I say.

That is far too young.
Huge emotional turmoil.

Geez Bird. I'm sorry for your losses. You sound like a great mum. Thanks for the band pic. You all look real cool.
Congratulations on 3 years AF Techie! Great to know you and to have you around mate. Have a great day friend.
Drizzling rain here....As Mrs Pap at the milk bar used to say......ah, the weather the weather......

I'm afraid there'll be no Lurpaking for this little arse for a while.
I had a little blood pressure related adventure over the weekend.
160/110. Ding ding ding.....high score!:H
Landed myself on medication and have been for a plethora of pathology. Just rang my parents to thank them for the double jeopardy genes.:H
Anyhoo, I know when my compensatory sugar and fat sucking days are over. Move over Mr G....I'm swimming and running the bay with ya!If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?
