Hey Mr G - if we do as you're doing today, all will be fine! Big salute my friend.
Waiting to hear from Happs. I.will.not.be.doing.the.camera.trick. EVER
Hugs Techie - I don't know what else to say.
Bridge figured me out. I'm in avoidance mode.....not reading/listening/speculating.....just can't!
I'll have some berry stuffy stuff too please Rags.
Oscar sends love and licks Tawny. Princess Dharma bit the blind man yesty. Well, he wasn't blind, he was giving us a quote for blinds....plantation shutters actually. FH says she's demented..... She says he's demented.... Why do people stick their hands out at dogs?? So they can smell them?? WTF for - a dog would have had their scent sorted before they even knew there was a dog in residence!! Oscar just sits by my side and blinks.....looking from one to the other. Sometimes he breathes deeply.
Just now at the command desk. Had to take FH to the surgeon as his shoulder was getting tighter and tighter and I feared frozen shoulder syndrome. SO, I called and begged for early intervention and it's now sorted - he gets sliced next Tuesday and then a NINE month recovery period. This is a significant injury my lad - surgeon's words. I wonder if there are enough mind altering, non addictive substances on this planet to aid ME with his recovery...... His biggest worry is how he's going to manage his number twos. I must say I'd be worried about that too. I told him we'd get a proper nozzle for the hose out the back.... He just stared and blinked.
OK - I'm into it. Back laters XOIt is not what we do, but how much love we put into the doing.

There's a lot of staring, blinking and sighing in your house at the moment Nice One.
By the way, I think I've worked out where Oscars replacement was on the job sniffing the other month. Hour and a bit south was it?If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Hey Bridge - I find a good deep regular sigh helps. Obviously Oscar thinks likewise. He's such a beautiful dog. He tries to sit on my lap at night but I can hardly breathe and he gets too hot and has to get off.
His replacement was working in Katoomba. Obviously the girl he was searching for wasn't there. They were up there again last week but still no result. The handler never seems disappointed when they leave a search without a result. He is so confident that if there is a body in the vicinity it will be found. And, as Oscar has proven, even many, many years later. These dogs are just sensational creatures.
You know Bridge, FH and I have only be together for about 5 years and I consider myself fairly independent and definitely NOT high maintenance. I really appreciate that he makes me a cup of tea every single morning, no matter what, and it doesn't take much to make me happy. I think I'm fairly positive. I have just recently come to realise FH is hard bloody work - LOL!! I deep breathe a LOT because I think I've been tricked!!! I'm now seeing clearly just how much I do for him - even before he broke himself. Not his fault though, I have the saviour complex happening big time and I like being organised and tidy (mentally as well as physically) so I tend to just do what needs doing without thinking or delegating. It appears he's quite comfortable stepping right into my saviour complex stride.... He's lucky I like him!!!!
Blood sugar dropping....must eat my big lunch or fall face first into keyboard......It is not what we do, but how much love we put into the doing.

You know Complexus saviourus sufferers and alcoholics have a lot of trouble asking for help when they need it too? As unfair as that sounds. Maybe we're a bit up ourselves and we don't think we need help?:H
Random scattergun thoughts, also need lunch:HIf your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Hi folks. Back from Unity and our quick accent of Squaw Peak. Let me get my camera sorted and get out of these clothes and I'll post a few pics. BTW Happs, here is the license plate of my medical specialist Dr. Will Hertz at The Cornell Medical Center...
Outside of a dog a book is mans best friend. Inside of a dog its too dark to read
